Job Description Java Software Developer in Test Trip Data Services team is focused on developing and maintaining variety of PNR (travel booking) services running on open systems (Linux). In specific the team is responsible for PNR data distribution to internal and external customers, multiple PNR web services and development of Trip Record - breakthrough architecture to store and operate on next-generation booking data. All the applications are high volume, multi-instance and critical. RESPONSIBILITIES: Creates appropriate test scenarios based on software specification Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action Document detailed steps to reproduce defect Designs, creates, executes and maintains automated test scenarios written in Java Improves existing patterns and introduces new enhancements for the testing framework in Java Designs and develops testing models and implements business logic validation into the testing framework In cooperation with business representatives defines the Acceptance Criteria, necessary designs and documentation Analyses results of software tests to ensure desired functionality and quality. Applies fundamental skills, concepts and practices to solve difficult assignments Assures code quality and adherence to coding and testing standards on projects Applies Scrum practices, including acceptance testing, iteration and release planning, and stand-up meetings.
